지속 가능한 도시가 되기 위한 싱가포르의노력은 전 세계적으로 인정을 받았습니다. 싱가포르는 2023 글로벌 MICE 목적지 지속 가능성 평가(Global Destination Sustainability Index, GDS-I)에서 100개 참여 도시 중 전 세계 17위, 아시아-태평양 지역 2위를 차지했습니다. 같은 해, 싱가포르는 국가 차원에서 인증 절차를 최초로 도입하여 국제지속가능관광위원회(Global Sustainable Tourism Council, GSTC) 목적지 기준 인증을 획득하기도 했습니다. 1
싱가포르관광청(STB)과 싱가포르 전시컨벤션협회(Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers, SACEOS)는 싱가포르 MICE 산업 전반에 걸쳐 지속 가능성 기준을 높이기 위한 명확한 목표와 전략을 수립하는 등 적극적인 노력으로 더욱 강화되었습니다.
